New webinar by Autotwin project: Self-learning Digital Twins

Events, News

Online appointments continue with the Auto-twin project (G.A.101092021); this time we will delve deeper into the topic of Digital Twins in the manufacturing sector.

The sixth webinar organized by the project will be broadcast on Wednesday 29 January at 03.00 PM (CET).

Digital twins: why are so important

The concept of Digital Twin refers to the virtual replication of a physical system which can be a machine, a plant or a production process.

Thanks to the use of data from sensors, IoT devices and other sources, the new system allows you to simulate, monitor and understand the behaviors of the system studied in real-time.

Digital Twins can be used for different purposes, making processes more efficient, carrying out predictive maintenance, designing new components in an optimized way, controlling processes in real-time, managing the supply chain in a data-driven manner.

The webinar

“Digital Twins (DTs) are revolutionizing modern manufacturing by integrating physical systems with their digital counterparts, enabling advanced monitoring, control, and optimization.

This webinar examines the potential of self-improving DT models through life-long learning to unlock new manufacturing capabilities”.

An exceptional guest will take part in the discussion: Professor Jan C Aurich, Professor, mechanical engineering University of Kaiserslautern
